What is HIFU?
HIFU is a new, non-invasive procedure for tightening the skin in the face, neck and décolleté areas through high-intensity focused ultrasound. With this technology, the ultrasound waves penetrate deep into the skin and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This boosts and accelerates the body’s natural healing processes, and helps to lift and tighten loose or sagging skin.

How does it work?
The same probe is then used to deliver focused ultrasound waves that stimulate collagen production. As a result, the skin becomes gradually firmer and tighter, with a natural lifting effect.

Several areas, such as face, neck and décolleté, can be treated in a single session, which can last from 45 to 60 minutes. HIFU is a non-invasive procedure, and as such it requires no downtime. While it is generally painless, discomfort may vary from person to person.
You might notice some minor redness after the treatment. The first results are seen two or three months after the procedure, but it can take up to six months before you can appreciate the final result, which is long-lasting.

A safe, effective and scalpel-free way to remove fat deposits

Fat cells are particularly susceptible to cold damage. Cryolipolysis is a body-sculpting technology that exploits this sensitivity to target localised fat deposits and remove them in a non-surgical way.
Cryolipolysis devices feature ergonomic applicators, which create a vacuum on the area to be treated and cool it down to temperatures of up to -10 degrees Celsius for around 70 minutes. The surrounding skin is covered with a special cloth for cold protection, ensuring that the controlled freezing only targets the areas of concern. When the fat cells are frozen, the immune system detects the damage and starts to destroy them, and the liver breaks down the lipids released from this process in the same way as it would break down dietary fats. It takes two to three months for all the damaged fat cells to be eliminated, at which point the fat deposits are visibly reduced.

Possible applications:
Cryolipolysis is a gentle fat-reduction technology that can be used to treat almost all body areas, including the face area. In terms of results, it shows a high satisfaction score especially among patients who are of normal weight or are moderately overweight, while it is not a suitable option for general weight reduction.

What is special about the new Coolshaping device?
Besides offering high levels of quality and safety, this cutting-edge device allows four different body areas to be treated simultaneously. Is cryolipolysis safe?
The procedure is pain-free and generally safe. Possible side effects include occasional bruising, redness, slight swelling or tissue hardening as well as temporary numbness and sensitivity, but these usually disappear in a few days.
Results are permanent and become visible after around six weeks, with a fat volume loss of around 30% per session.

Laser- a magical tool in medicine

Laser technology has revolutionised the possibility of dermatological treatment in recent decades. Today, many skin problems/skin diseases can be treated gently and permanently using different laser systems.

The first step to beautiful skin

and deficiencies, this technique can also be used to identify future skin problems that are not yet visible.

Based on the findings of this analysis, an individual treatment and care plan can then be developed together. Medical treatments such as mechanical or chemical peels to improve the surface of the skin or the various methods for skin rejuvenation, such as mesotherapy, mesoeclat lifting, microneedling or vampire lifting can then be used in a targeted manner.

Electroporation is a non-invasive, needle-free and therefore gentle method of skin rejuvenation.
Using the "IonwaveTM technology", tiny channels are created in the skin for a short time with the help of an electric field. At this precise moment, an impulse-giving field transports high-quality active ingredients specifically into the deep layers of the skin.

Through the pore-opening process of electroporation, active ingredients can penetrate the skin for the first time - without damaging the skin - in larger quantities and higher molecular weights, which otherwise, due to the protective function of the skin, cannot or can hardly pass through the upper barrier layer.

Bio-remodelling with Profhilo
Lifting effect and moisture boost without surgery

The extraordinary composition makes Profhilo a unique and unprecedented preparation. It is a hybrid molecule of high and low molecular hyaluronic acid without any other additives. This highly pure hyaluronic acid floods the skin from the inside due to a strong water-attracting effect, which immediately creates a strong lifting effect. In addition, the body's own hyaluronic acid production is stimulated and collagen and elastin formation is supported.

Unlike conventional fillers, Profhilo does not act selectively. By injecting it at five predefined points - so-called bioaesthetic points (BAP) - on each side, this hyaluronic acid distributes itself in the tissue in a very short time. With your own blood to youthfully fresh skin

The vampire lift (PRP therapy) is a relatively new, particularly gentle form of skin tightening that does not require any surgery or synthetic agents.

In vampire lifting, the patient's own specially prepared blood, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), is used. This contains a particularly high concentration of platelets. The serum also contains white blood cells, growth factors, stem cells and proteins. The blood concentrate is
under the skin with the help of tiny needles (microneedling). If the autologous blood were massaged in without pre-treatment, the treatment would have no consequences because the ingredients cannot penetrate the skin.

This treatment leads to a significantly improved skin appearance, smoothed expression lines, as well as to an active regeneration of the skin through the new formation of the skin components collagen and elastin. In the long term, the skin gains elasticity and freshness. The pain of the therapy is well tolerated, a light pain treatment with paracetamol may be applied. The application of an anaesthetic cream is also recommended. After the vampire lift, the skin is still red at first. To avoid swelling and bruising, the treated areas are cooled.

Immediately after the treatment you will notice a slight tightening of the skin. In the days and weeks that follow, the growth factors unfold their biological effect. The success of each treatment is strongest after a few weeks and lasts up to 18 months. Refreshing the vampire lift once a year stabilises the success.

• Particularly important: no blood-thinning medication such as ASA, aspirin or Marcumar or anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen should be taken for 14 days before the treatment.

The extremely gentle method for skin beautification

Blemishes such as scars, uneven skin or pigmentation disorders can be very stressful in the long run. Especially irregularities in the face can hardly be properly concealed. Even the constant covering up with make-up is not a satisfactory solution for most of those affected. On the contrary, it can irritate the skin even more. One way to improve the skin's appearance in the long term is to use various peeling methods that remove the upper layers of skin in a controlled manner.

Microdermabrasion is a mechanical peeling with an anti-aging effect.

For this gentle form of skin abrasion, a polishing device with fine diamond attachments is used. The device works without chemical agents solely through mechanical action. Only the top layer of skin is treated so that there is no risk of injury to the surrounding tissue. Dead skin particles are removed, the pores are opened and irregularities are removed. Among other things, this results in skin care products being better absorbed by the skin. At the same time, the procedure stimulates blood circulation, cell renewal and collagen formation in the skin. In a way, microdermabrasion offers a natural anti-aging effect in addition to the superficial improvement of the skin's appearance.

The peeling cure

A chemical peel penetrates the skin and causes the skin layers to peel away. This removes skin impurities. The excess, dead skin cells are often responsible for a sallow complexion. After exfoliation, your skin feels smooth and is more receptive to subsequent skin care products or electroporation. Another effect of the peel is that once the dead skin cells have been removed, the younger cells that follow can more easily reach the surface of the skin. The skin becomes more cohesive and the pores are refined. At the same time, the water retention of the skin is increased, keratoses (cornifications) of the skin are reduced and the surface structure of the skin is improved. Smooth skin by activating our self-healing powers
Fractional microneedling with radiofrequency is an innovative, low-pain method that gently provides visibly younger and firmer skin. The ultra-modern technology is a further development of medical needling with the skin roller or the DermaPen. The effect has been scientifically proven.

Two already proven therapeutic approaches are used simultaneously: needling and radiofrequency. The tissue reacts with complex regeneration and repair mechanisms to the penetration of the extremely fine needles and the simultaneous thermal effect of the radio frequency. A targeted stimulation of neocollagenesis (new production of collagen), the release of growth factors and a comprehensive remodelling of the tissue, so that even scar tissue can be repaired. With Botox injections against age and expression lines

Wrinkles increasingly appear as part of the ageing of the face. A distinction must be made between wrinkles caused by facial expression and those caused by gravity or a loss of elasticity in the skin. Mimic wrinkles occur where our facial muscles work more as part of a facial expression, straining the skin in the process.

This is the case, for example, with forehead wrinkles or frown lines. The constant movements in this area cause the collagen fibres to break and wrinkles to form. At first, these wrinkles are only visible when the muscles move, but later they are also visible at rest - so-called static wrinkles.
The wrinkles that appear in the lower region of the face are usually caused by a loss of elasticity of the skin and, in old age, also by a loss of volume.

Expression lines can be treated very well by injecting botulinum toxin. This is an active substance that selectively acts on the signal transmission of the nerves to the facial muscles and leads to a relaxation of the treated muscle parts. The active ingredient must be injected in precise doses into the muscles involved in the region.

The smoothing effect then usually begins after 2 days; after about 10 days the effect is fully pronounced. Non-mimic wrinkles, i.e. static wrinkles and wrinkles in the lower half of the face caused by a loss of volume, are best treated with so-called fillers, which are usually based on hyaluronic acid.

Natural skin ageing affects everyone. In the course of life, the facial skin loses its supportive cushion of collagen and elastin. Moisturising substances such as hyaluronic acid and proteins diminish and gravity causes wrinkles to form.
The signs of ageing can be treated effectively and gently with hyaluronic acid fillers and other fillers (also called derma fillers).
With hyaluronic acid injections, loss of volume and contour of the skin can be gently remedied. The affected areas are treated with a fine injection needle.
In some cases, fine blunt cannulas are used. The wrinkle injections are performed under local anaesthesia so that the patient does not feel any pain. The

• Duration of effect: Depending on the indication and the preparation used, up to 18 months. Depending on the preparation, follow-up treatment or correction may be necessary.
• Risks: Minor bleeding and swelling are possible. However, these usually disappear quickly. Hyaluronic acid treatment is safe and harmless in the hands of a specialist and when quality products are used.

Laser - The gold standard for vascular changes

Due to its symptoms, couperosis is more of a cosmetic than a health problem for those affected. Typically, fine veins shimmer through the skin. Couperosis usually only affects the skin on the face, rarely also the skin on the neck or décolleté.

Characteristic are:

• Redness in the cheeks and nose area
• Visible veins that shimmer through the skin in a bluish or reddish colour
• Generally sensitive skin with a tendency to dryness.

The symptoms of couperosis are not dangerous to health; however, they can be psychologically very stressful for those affected. It can also occur as a preliminary stage of rosacea, in which further, mostly inflammatory changes (papules/pustules) occur in the following.

No curative therapy options!
To improve the skin's appearance, special peelings are used in addition to the general recommendations (avoidance of trigger factors, proper skin care). The very disturbing veins are removed in a gentle way and extremely successfully with the laser. In our Medical Centre, a special powerful diode laser with a wavelength of 532 nm (green laser) is used for this purpose. These local measures are supported by a stage-appropriate drug therapy. • Result: The treatment effect is visible immediately. Usually 1, maximum 2 sessions are sufficient to remove the veins completely.
• Risks: low. Occasionally, however, small crusts may appear, which fall off by themselves after a few days.

Botox stops excessive sweating in the armpit region

Everyone sweats. Sweating is vital; it serves to keep the body temperature constant. But sometimes it can be too much of a good thing. Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) is a widespread problem and can become a great psychosocial burden for those affected.

Treatment of hyperhidrosis in the armpit region
Herbal remedies, e.g. sage extracts, are usually insufficient. The effect of anti-perspirants is also often insufficient. In addition, they usually contain aluminium compounds, which are increasingly suspected of playing a role in the development of Alzheimer's disease or breast cancer.

Botulinum toxin A injections
Botox treatment has proven to be extremely effective against excessive sweating, especially in the armpit region, when used correctly by a doctor. This method is almost painless and well tolerated. The extremely diluted active ingredient is injected into the armpit in several tiny portions through very fine needles. The effect is developed directly on the sweat glands by the botulinum toxin specifically blocking the nerve impulses for sweat secretion. Other nerve functions are not affected in their activity. The extent of the area to be treated is marked beforehand by the so-called "sweat test according to Minor".

When does the effect occur and how long does it last?
Approximately one week after application, the medication takes effect and helps the sufferer to be pleasantly "sweat-free" for 12 -18 months.

Laser treatment for permanent hair removal

A permanently beautiful and smooth skin without annoying stubble is the wish of many who come to us at the Medical Centre. On the face or other parts of the body where hair is not desired, it is not only a cosmetic problem, but often also a psychological one. Legs, bikini area, armpits and upper lip are typical problem areas for women. Men, on the other hand, are often bothered by pronounced back hair.

Epilation with the help of wax, tweezers, electric devices and especially simple shaving is not permanent, sometimes painful and time-consuming. It is often associated with unpleasant side effects, such as ingrown hairs, pustules and irritated skin areas.
According to current medical knowledge, laser epilation is the only method to get rid of unwanted hair and hairs permanently, with little pain and without side effects.
